Therapy Services

Individual Therapy

Roamers Therapy offers psychotherapy, also known as talk therapy. Psychotherapy will improve your well being and mental health. Through individual psychotherapy, you may be able to resolve or reduce troublesome behaviors, beliefs, compulsions, thoughts, or emotions that may be derailing your days. When you engage in individual psychotherapy you may be able to cultivate joy and pursue post-traumatic growth in a safe therapeutic setting. This is done by utilizing an individualized, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive approach.

Couples Therapy

Couples therapy is for individuals currently struggling with boundaries, communication, frequent arguments, and difficulty maintaining healthy intimate relationships. Engaging in couples therapy will potentially help you and your partner improve communication, get along better, decrease the intensity of arguments, eliminate violent outbursts, and improve unhelpful dynamics.

Our clinicians specialize in the Gottman Method; an evidence-based approach focused on strengthening relationships and fostering deeper intimacy for couples. Whether you’re navigating challenges or seeking to enrich your relationship, we will provide a space to assist you and your family to change/grow as a unit.

Our approach

At Roamers Therapy, we seek to be “in-tune” and “connected” with people who share their most personal thoughts and feelings. We do this by beginning with a multi-stepped assessment process and collaborating in a client/therapist relationship to eventually help you co-author your story.

While at Roamers Therapy, we seek for you to come as yourself. Seriously, even if you have been to therapy before. Our purpose is to facilitate a real space for you to be yourself and learn about your inner world. Roamers Therapy was constructed with core values of cultural competency, intersectionality, and trauma-informed care. Overall, we hope the process at Roamers develops and guides motivation, accountability, take-home exercises, and change.
